History
- August 1967
- Ohara Industry Co., Ltd. was established by the company founder Akira Ohara on the grounds of the Topre Corporation in Hara, Hachihonmatsu-cho in Higashi Hiroshima City, and began automobile underbody painting work.
- May 1968
- Established the Hara Plant.Established the Die Business Division.
- December 1977
- Established Ohara Industry Co., Ltd. as a buying and selling company at the Hara Plant.
- January 1984
- Akira Ohara resigned as president, and was replaced by Tatsuyoshi Ohara.
- December 1989
- Established the CAD/CAM Center at the Yoshikawa Industrial Park in Higashi Hiroshima City.
- August 1991
- Relocated the head office plant to the Yoshikawa Industrial Park in Higashi Hiroshima City.
Introduced an Okuma double column machining center (2000*4000).
Introduced an Asai Corporation hydraulic 300-ton press (1500*2500). - June 2002
